Summer WASL Sign-Ups Still Being Accepted

High school students in grades 9-12 who have yet to pass one or more sections of the WASL can still register to take one of more of the tests this summer, August 11-14.

Although the state is no longer taking registrations by telephone or their website, Federal Way students can call Rusty Dupree at 253-945-2125.  Students must sign up by  August 1.

Students need their state identification number, which is on the front of their WASL score report, to register. Testing will take place August 11 - 14, 2008, at Federal Way High School, 30611 16th Avenue South, Federal Way, WA 98003. Reading is scheduled for August 11, math on August 12 and writing on August 13 and 14. Science, because it is not yet a graduation requirement, will not be given in August.
