Amye was elected to the Board in November 2007.  She and her husband, Patrick, have lived in Federal Way since 1993, and have three children, all enrolled in the district schools. She brings many years of experience working with individual schools, district and state level programs, and parent and community organizations, including school leadership teams, the PTA board, FWPS Family and Community Partnership Office’s Advisory Committee, and OSPI’s Title I Parent Engagement Committee. Amye has a bachelor of arts in English from the University of New Mexico. She also works for the Chamber of Commerce’s Advancing Leadership program, and she is a 2006 graduate of that program.
